If you use a shopping cart sytem such as Web-Store-Buddy it is extremely easy to hook your web site up to your WorldPay WorldDirect account. All you do is tell Web-Store-Buddy your WorldPay "installation ID" and you're done. WorldPay WorldDirect is available in most countries and supports many currencies.

How it works:

When a customer completes their order, they are taken to WorldPay's secure payment gateway. This is what happens:

• Your customer enters their credit card details
• WorldPay checks that the card details are correct
• WorldPay obtains authorization for the payment from the customer's credit card issuer
• If approved, WorldPay transfers the funds into your WorldPay account.The customer and you (the merchant) receive a general email confirming the transaction
• If you are using Web-Store-Buddy , WorldPay tells Web-Store-Buddy that the order is approved, and this allows Web-Store-Buddy to continue processing the order (Web-Store-Buddy empties the shopper's cart, sends your detailed order confirmation, and notifies you of your new order).
• Periodically WorldPay transfers the funds from your WorldPay account to your bank account (eg every two weeks).

Pricing varies from country to country. You will need to visit WorldPay WorldDirect to find the exact price. However you are likely to pay around 4.5% per transaction, about $150 per year, and about $100 to set the account up.
